Stage – Habama School for acting & leadership 
 
The leading school for acting, leadership and storytelling skills, created in order to supply a suitable platform for the improvement of performance and presentation skills on theatre, film, and your career and everyday life.
 
A selection of different courses helps you conquer the stage, enhance your performance before an audience, improve communication and stage presence and develop leadership skills by using the art of storytelling and stage acting methods.
 
The school was established in 2002 at the initiative of its Director, Batia Bandel. The professional staff includes theatre directors, actors and teachers of the performance arts.
 
The main study campus is located at the Givataim Theater, 40 David Remez Street, Givataim. The supplementary campus is now opened in Haifa at The International Convention Center.
For groups and organizations, the study location will be determined by the specific activity. It is possible to open study locations anywhere in the country according to demand.
 
About the Director
Batia Bandel is a senior organizational consultant and an expert in leadership skills. She served as a training development officer in the Naval Commando and at the 'Navy Officers’ School for over 10 years. In that position, she designed all training programs for the preparation of combat units for operational activity, as well as training Navy officers, commanders and trainers.
 
As an organizational consultant, Batia worked on projects involving organizational development and training for commercial and educational bodies. She taught leadership and decision making in teachers and managers courses within the academic framework.
 
Batya Bendel is qualified in acting and drama writing studies

Our Teachers
Ishay Dan – stage director and acting teacher. Founder of the acting stream at the Kibbutzim Seminar of Education as well as at The Tel Hay College. Directs for community theatre and within the framework of the Ministry of Culture’s “Cultural Basket.” Over 20 years experience as an acting coach. Teaches stage character building.
 
Zipi Mor – actor and director. Acted in popular children’s TV series. Teaches acting, humor and improvisation, directs advanced actors’ groups, up to their final production. Along with  Galia Ishay, she is coordinating the children’s and youth team.
 
Ran Vered – actor and storyteller, graduate of Beit Zvi School of the Performing Arts, Kibbutzim Seminar of Education and the Storytellers’ course at Beit Ariella Cultural Center. Teaches acting in community theatre and storytellers’ courses at The Lewinsky Seminar. Teaches acting and the art of storytelling.
 
 Stewart Kingstone – actor and clown, acting graduate from the UK [specify college], has performed in circuses in the UK and in the Chinese Circus for 9 years. Teaches clowning, performance with masks and physical humor.
 
Noam Talmon – actor and Opera singer. Graduate of Jerusalem Music Academy  and Beit Zvi School of the Performing Arts. Has performed with the Israel Opera and on opera stages around the world. Teaches voice training, singing and diction.
 
Amitay Milo – actor and acting teacher. Graduate of The Nissan Nativ Studio of Acting. Has produced and participated in improvised shows and operates a puppet theatre. Teaches improvisation.
 
Guest teachers and storytellers also take part in courses.
